Manta Ray Bed and Breakfast is a tropical getaway offering deluxe, private seaside accommodation at secluded Newell Beach.  Its location is nearby Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland Australia and only 75kms from Cairns International Airport, A variety of transport is available to and from the airport.

Tropical North Queensland is a region internationally recognised for its world class natural attractions like the Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge, Daintree River and Rainforest, with crocodiles, butterflies and tropical birds, Cape Tribulation where the rainforest meets the reef, Atherton Tablelands (Cairns hinterland) which offers bird watching, crater lakes and waterfalls. It is also famous for its climate, “beautiful one day, perfect the next”. Newell Beach and surrounds offers something for everyone, simply relaxing, or access to an interesting variety of tours and or adventure experiences.

The B&B environment is Bali-inspired and the accommodation is situated within a tropical garden compound.  Guest accommodation is in a separate wing, and features cool marble floors, fans and air-conditioning with a Bali theme.

A central, large, salt water lap pool divides the guest accommodation from the main house and features a Bali Bale and day bed catching the sea and mountain breezes – perfect for relaxing day or evening.

At the rear of the accommodation are cane fields stretching to rainforest covered mountains and beautiful, pristine, white sanded and palm fringed Newell Beach– over 3.5km long and flanked by two rivers,  is just a two minute stroll from the back gate and can be viewed from the main house.
